This week, Reception have been incredibly active! We’ve been mastering our balance skills with the help of Bikeability, and what an exciting experience it has been. Every day, we’ve had the chance to head outside, explore the bikes, and grow into confident riders. Our amazing specialist teachers filled us with encouragement, making learning both fun and engaging!
Keeping with our theme of “Around the World,” we’ve been comparing the United Kingdom and Jamaica! We explored their flags, landscapes, cultures, and foods, discovering some fascinating differences. Interestingly, we found it much easier to spot differences than similarities!
To bring our learning to life, we ended the week with a delicious tasting session of exotic fruits. On Friday, we tried Papaya, Guava, Custard Apples, and Dragon Fruit—and Papaya was our favourite!
