What a busy week in Year 1! The children were so excited to take part in the Institute of Imagination’s interactive zoom session where they were able to become nature’s engineers! Year One were introduced to Wild Eco Builders and were able to experiment and create nature inspired buildings using paper!
Year One had a lovely afternoon during Change for Change, to help support the school and its fundraising efforts. It was lovely to see all of the fantastic donations from children across the school and all of the hard work that was put into the event by the Year Five pupils!
Finally, Year One have been working very hard in their English lessons to create a plan for their big write. Year One will be writing a narrative about a detective animal investigating a case of missing items. We are very excited to create detective stories!
