Wow, what a busy term!
Year One have learned so many new things during the Autumn term. Starting with our first topic “My Family History” for which we learned about each other’s families and where they come from. Moving onto “Our Local Area”, the children explored Archway to identify human and physical features and even drew their own maps!
For science, we have had so much fun learning who we are, discovering the five senses and why we have joints in our arms and legs. Finishing Autumn 2 learning about plants and animals has been very interesting, they have enjoyed learning about different groups of animals, the structure of plants and being able to compare the features of different animals. As well as doing a fantastic job for our Class Assembly all about plants and animals!
Year One have worked so hard this year and they cannot wait to start their new learning in the Spring 1 term!
