What an amazing week!
Year One have worked so hard this week to prepare for our class assemblies. We have been practising everyday to make sure that we did our best and knew all our songs and lines.
Year One class assembly showcased what we are learning about in our Autumn 2 science topic “Plants and Animals”. This included deciduous and evergreen trees, the structure of flowering plants as well as the five different animal groups.
Orange class performed on Wednesday, followed by Amber class on Friday. Everyone did an incredible job and were so confident on the stage. The Year One staff and children are extremely proud of this accomplishment. I think it’s safe to say that we have some budding actors and actresses in Year One.
Well done, Year One!
Finally, we have been discussing and thinking about Remembrance Day and all who fought in the WW1 and WW2. Our thoughts and prayers are for all families who have been affected.
