Welcome Back!
Year One are so excited to be back in school after having a lovely, restful Easter break! The children are ready and looking forward to Summer Term One!
The children were introduced to their new English book “Where the Wild Things Are”. Year One loved reading this and discussing what they thought would happen next in the story. The children then had to imagine themselves as a “Wild Thing” at a “wild rumpus” and draw a self-portrait as their character.
Also, Year One have been rehearsing for their Easter Breakfast performance. The children have given 100% effort in all practices and they cannot wait to share this performance with their loved ones next week!
