The pupils had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day this week. The theme for our celebration was, ‘Cozy up to a book,’ where the pupils were invited to put on their pyjamas or comfortable clothes to relax with a book of their choice.
As well as reading for pleasure in their comfy clothes, the children took part in a whole school quiz where all year groups came together! The pupils had to answer questions based on all the wonderful books they have read in school.
Finally, we hosted a competition where the pupils had to create their favourite characters with a wooden spoon. The designs showcased how creative our pupils are whether it was with their drawing, painting or crafting.
