Well, how wonderful it was to welcome back all our pupils this week! It was great to hear of the different things that the children got up to, and how much they treasured quality time with their families.
Upon return, with the intent of working on spoken oracy and presentation skills, the Year 6 pupils were set the task of creating a presentation on Google Slides informing the class about global warming. Pupils integrated humour alongside some spine-chilling statistics to deliver the message. This is a great skill to develop in preparation for KS3, and one we will continue to develop.
The pupils finished the week with a special PE assembly, organised by Mr Grant. Mr Grant wanted to celebrate the sporting achievements of our pupils from the previous term, whilst also giving our very talented gymnasts the chance to perform in front of the school.
A special shout out goes to the following pupils:
Steven, of Violet Class, for progressing so much in his boxing that his club has organised his first bout. Best of luck Steven!
Joe, of Amethyst Class, for being picked up by the London Lions for basketball!
And finally, to our wonderful gymnasts who performed spectacularly today; Emily (Violet), Victoria (Violet), Deborah (Violet), Angel-Faith (Violet), Lillyann (Amethyst) & Brianna (Amethyst).
