Year 6 were incredibly busy this week with 3 off-site activities! We started the week with Sports Day at the Aloysius playing fields. We competed in obstacle races, 50m sprints and relays. We loved making the most of the sunshine!
The next day, we were invited to Bishop Douglass to watch their production of Matilda. We were blown away by how passionate, funny and professional the students performing were. After this, the Head of Music & Head of Drama at Bishop Douglass carried out an acting and singing workshop for our children.
Finally, today, we went to the Sobell Centre to participate in the Islington Junior Citizen scheme. The children were taught by Arsenal, HopeUK, MyBNK, British Transport Police and many more! We learned some valuable information to keep us safe, and how we can be part of a new, improved Islington.
