This week, Year 6 has made significant progress with their production. We are now completing full run-throughs with transitions during rehearsals. We encourage everyone at home to practice not only lines but the songs and dances for the musical numbers! Additionally, in Art, the pupils used watercolours to create posters for the production.
We made the most of the good weather with our new topics in PE – tennis and rounders. In tennis, the pupils learned the skill of the forehand, before moving on to some conditioned games.
Finally, in our Design Technology unit of work, the pupils have started their plans for pop-up books. The pupils will create a pop-up book with different mechanisms for each page. When complete, the pupils will go down to EYFS and Year 1 to read through their creations with our younger pupils.
