And just like that, our residential has come and gone. We had a wonderful week at PGL – Little Canada, Isle of Wight.
On Monday, we explored the HMS Victory & Warrior at Portsmouth docks. We even had access to the inside of the ships. After this, we got a quick ferry to the island. Once at PGL, we had dinner followed by our evening activity.
On Tuesday, we had a day full of activities. The pupils did archery, rock climbing and the sensory trail to name a few. To finish, the pupils had an evening game of ambush against the camp leaders.
On Wednesday, the pupils went to Dinosaur Isle. We had the opportunity to handle fossils, explore the museum and then go on our own fossil hunt to the beach.
On Thursday, the pupils visited Osborne House followed by lunch at Queen Victoria’s private beach. We finished Thursday with the much-anticipated disco!
On Friday, the pupils had a few more activities such as abseiling and the giant swing, before making their way back to London. It was a great trip and enjoyed by everyone! There are many more photos and videos for the trip on the school’s X (Twitter) account.
