English:
In English this week, we wrote the conclusion to our Rose Blanche diary entry. The Rose Blanche book outlines what it was like to be a child living in mainland Europe during World War II. It looks at the discrimination the Jewish community faced, therefore encouraging our pupils to think deeply when imagining how the character would be feeling.
Maths:
In Maths, we finished our fractions topic by working out how you can work out a fraction of an amount. The children discussed multiple methods they could use to approach these questions and practised the method which they found the most efficient.
Christmas Party:
Our Upper Juniors had their Christmas party on Thursday. We had a plethora of activities for the pupils to participate in: arts and crafts, karaoke, dance-offs and even a talent show! For working so hard this term, the children got to indulge in some sweet treats!
