On Wednesday, we visited the Sobell Centre where the children took part in the Islington Junior Citizenship Scheme, organised by Islington Council. The scheme comprised a series of workshops on a range of topics related to keeping safe. These included sessions on diversity, the LGBTQ+ community, fire safety, transport, medical emergencies and crime. Some children got their mobile phones stolen, but thankfully the thief was caught and the phones were returned!
The children learnt a lot and had a great deal of fun at the same time.
