Year 6 had a brilliant time cracking codes and learning about Bletchley Park during a wonderful workshop this afternoon. They explored the use of morse code and encryption to send messages during World War II, as well as how those messages were intercepted and read by clever spies. We were lucky enough to look at a real working Enigma Machine and see how it operates. The children really applied themselves and persevered to decipher tricky codes, just like the heroes at Bletchley Park!
