This week, Year 5 students had the exciting opportunity to find out which Year 6 class they will be joining next year, marking an important step in their journey. The transition session went smoothly, with both students and teachers settling into their new groups and starting to build positive connections. There was a real buzz of excitement as the children met their new teacher, got to know their future classmates and began thinking ahead to all the opportunities Year 6 will bring. The atmosphere was full of optimism, with students feeling positive, motivated and ready to take on the challenges of their final year at primary school.
This week, Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic tennis lesson under bright blue skies and perfect weather. The students made the most of the sunshine as they practised their tennis skills, improving their serves, rallies and footwork. They worked together to set up tennis nets and organise their own games, showing great teamwork and enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun on the court while developing their sporting skills. Well done, Year 5!
