This week, Year 5 have been learning all about the differences between physical and human features in our Geography lessons. Within the lesson, they looked up the different countries in Great Britain and researched many of their features. For example, they looked up what the population was, buildings of importance, famous natural features and the climate of that area. It was great to see the pupils working so well in their groups and they really enjoyed the lesson!
Furthermore, Year 5 continued to learn about Space in their Science lessons, this week looking at how the Earth rotates on its axis but also orbits the Sun. They investigated this using torches and balls, which really helped it come to life.
