On Thursday, the students went on an exciting journey to Shaftesbury Theatre to see the show, Mrs Doubtfire. The students had an incredible time; full of laughs, cheers and surprise. The Year 5 cohort represented St Joseph’s beautifully and we are proud to report that several members of the public approached staff to comment on how well behaved the students were. Although it was a long day, everyone had an absolute blast.
Earlier in the week, Tanzanite and Turquoise class visited the Wallace Collection museum to participate in a guided workshop. The workshop included two activities. In the first activity, we learnt about the different types of armour that soldiers wore and their properties. Students were able to touch and try on the armour. In the second activity, students explored the museum and used the artefacts as inspiration to draw and create their armour.
Thank you very much to the parent volunteers who were able to join us. Your support was greatly appreciated.
