This week, Year 5 students explored the fascinating world of biomes, learning about the unique ecosystems, plants, and animals found in places like rainforests and deserts. They also discussed the threats facing these biomes, such as pollution and deforestation, and brainstormed ways to protect them, like reducing waste and supporting conservation efforts.
In addition, the class began reading The Hound of the Baskervilles, diving into the thrilling world of Sherlock Holmes as they followed the clues with Holmes and Dr. Watson.
The week wrapped up with a fun CSI Road Safety session from The Riot Act, where students played detectives, investigating a road safety incident and learning important lessons on staying safe.
