This week has been another out of this world experience! Year 5 were lucky enough to have a visit from the Wonderdome and take part in a planetarium experience. They took off and visited the Milky Way, via a visit to the Sun. Next stop, it was all of the planets in our Solar System, and to conclude their space journey they landed on the Moon. They were taught so much on this exciting adventure and it really brought their Space unit to life!
Earlier on in the week, Year 5 took part in an extremely important survey for the RSPB and helped to collect data for the Big Bird Watch. Year 5 were lucky enough to see a wide variety of birds, including House sparrows, Blackbirds, Blue tits and a Song Thrush. It was a really exciting afternoon. Furthermore, Year 5 were taught about the importance of looking after our natural world and the living creatures within it.
Here we are celebrating our OUTSTANDING school!
