Year 5 were very fortunate to be visited by UCL Science students earlier this week. The purpose of the visit was to report back to the Year 5 students about an air pollution experiment which they helped organise. Earlier in the term, the UCL students visited to discuss the issue of air pollution in our local community and introduced an experiment which would measure the quality of air in the area around the school – tube station, park, ect. The students then collaborated together to choose the desired locations to test air quality. This week, we were able to view the results of the experiment and see which areas that the students choose had the best and worst quality of air.
Year 5 have been working very hard with their Christmas Carol Concert. We are so excited to perform this coming Monday. Performance starts at 2:00pm. We can’t wait to see you there. Please continue practising over the weekend.
