Year 4 were treated to a fantastic drama performance this morning, when performing arts students from City and Islington College came to visit. They performed a devised piece called ‘Winter tales’, which featured some wicked goblins and ghosts who lost a shard of glass from their Queen’s magical mirror and needed to pay a visit to Ebenezer Scrooge to try to get it back. The students used music and dance to bring the story to life. There were even opportunities for our own students to get involved with some familiar songs.
Year 4 were very impressed by the show, and some children were even inspired to put on their own productions in the playground afterwards. We have some budding actors on our hands! Thank you to Mr Chaundy and the students of City and Islington College for the super production.
All of our children have worked very hard this half term and definitely deserve a restful week off. We are looking forward to seeing them soon to begin new topics and continue with their learning journey. Have a great week off boys and girls!
