We have finished our first week in Year 4 and what a week it’s been. We have been so impressed with how quickly our children have jumped into their learning.
This week we have begun some of our new topics for the year. In Science we started our ‘States of Matter’ topic; exploring the properties of solids, liquids and gases. In Maths we have been partitioning numbers and considering the values of digits.
Today we were saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The children discussed her life and legacy, as well as taking some time to reflect and pray.
Miss Gormley and Miss Clarke are really looking forward to seeing what this year holds for all our wonderful pupils.
