We’re back and ready to start a new term of exciting learning in Year 4.
This week we attended Mass for the Feast of the Epiphany, celebrating the star which led the wise men to baby Jesus. This was a special time to reflect on the importance of Jesus being revealed to our world.
This week we also began our new Geography topic; ‘Rivers and the Water Cycle’. We carried out an experiment to find out how water moves on different surfaces. We used a range of materials and observed whether the water infiltrated into the material or ran off the surface. This will help us begin to think about how water moves around in a cycle.
Have a lovely weekend.
Miss Gormley and Mr Hannigan.
