This week in Year 4, we have discovered the reasons why volcanoes and earthquakes occur. We know that volcanoes often form at plate boundaries where magma can reach the surface, and earthquakes can happen due to the movement of these plates. It was also fascinating to learn about the different types of volcanoes such as shield volcanoes and stratovolcanoes!
In PE, we have developed our dribbling skills in Hockey and have explored attacking and defending. We then developed this into 3v3 games to demonstrate the skills we have learned.
In Maths, we have continued our multiplication and division work – understanding different strategies and multiplying/dividing by 10 and 100. We have also been busy improving our timetable knowledge and participating in competitions using Time Table Rockstars!
