Year 4 have had a busy week learning all about the distribution of volcanoes and earthquakes in the world, conductors and insulators of electricity, counting and ordering money and much more!
On Tuesday Blue class held their Prayer Service, which involved reading the parable of the Prodigal Son, reflecting on the meaning of this for Christians and singing some beautiful songs. The children created a calm and peaceful atmosphere and sang beautifully. It was a great way to showcase everything we have been learning in Religion.
To end the week we sat back and watched each other perform speeches for Round 2 of the ‘Don’t Freak Out, Just Speak Out’ challenge. We learnt a lot about the range of topics; such as lizards, jet engines and even some terrible football teams (not mentioning any in particular)! We are looking forward to seeing who has been chosen for the next round.
Have a super weekend.
Miss Gormley and Mr Hannigan.
