We had a short week this week but a very important one as we began with reflections about the Queen’s funeral and her time spent serving our country. The children were thoughtful and spent some time sharing their experiences of the day.
This week we have been really focused on reading; completing challenging comprehensions and activities which enable the children to develop their key VIPER skills (Vocabulary, Inference. Prediction, Explanation and Retrieval). We enjoyed visiting the library today and choosing some interesting books to read. Next week we are looking forward to writing some book reviews of our favourite books.
