Year 4 have been thinking all things Harvest this week as they prepare for their Harvest celebrations.
These handy helpers worked together to collect leaves with different shapes and sizes at home and in our school grounds. Then they used these leaves as resources and stimuli for their autumnal artwork; creating leaf shapes and decorating leaves, letters and pumpkins. The results were beautiful – we can’t wait for you to see them at our assembly!
This week Year 4 have also been working hard at home to create some fantastic projects based on our Geography topic; Rivers and The Water Cycle. They made 3D models, posters, paintings, fact files, diagrams and water cycle jars. We are so impressed with their efforts to display their learning. (Thanks to all the parents for keeping them on task too!)
Have a great weekend,
Miss Gormley and Miss Clarke.
