What an adventure Year 4 had last week! We ventured to Gordon Brown and took part in:
- making beds
- unpacking
- blindfold trails
- low ropes course
- feeding animals
- archery
- zipline
- death drop
- high climbing walls
- nightwalk
- camp fire
- making smores
- singalongs
- raft building
It was a magnificent experience, with children conquering their fears of heights, being away from family members for 2 nights and enjoying creating memories with friends. We had an absolute blast and would recommend to our Year 3’s! Staff were extremely impressed with how the children conducted themselves and gave everything a go (with a little help with making beds). Some photos of our adventure can be found below, but also on our Twitter (X) page!
This week, we jumped into our learning with exploring tenths and hundredths in maths. We began our new topic in Science: Electricity, establishing the difference between mains-operated appliances and battery-powered appliances. We have also started to give out lines for our assembly which takes place for Blue Class on the 8th May and Sapphire Class on the 10th May.
