This week, Mrs Roberts along with the Year 5 and 6 children organised a very successful “Change for Change” event. This included children in the Upper Key Stage 2 planning their own stalls which incorporated baked goods, food, quizzes, competitions, books, donated toys, and much more! The whole school was invited to bring in any loose change they had at home and then… the fun could begin! Some children were able to get books, toys, and food all for less than a pound! A great bargain, but also a chance to give to charity whilst having some fun with friends at the same time.
On Tuesday 19th March, it was also a very special feast day. It was the feast day of St Joseph! We spent time reflecting and discussing how Joseph fulfilled his mission to love God and serve others, and how by following his example, children can become missionaries of God’s love, too.
