Year 4 are lucky enough to take part in music lessons this year called The Apollo Music Project.
The children will have the opportunity to listen and play a variety of orchestral instruments as well as attending two Orchestra concerts.
On Monday, both Year 4 classes had their first session with Apollo Music. The children listened to classical pieces of music and thought about the techniques used within the music and how these techniques add to the message of the music. After listening and asking lots of questions, the children had the opportunity to ask the individual musicians questions about their instruments.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and are looking forward to the next session.
