We would like to extend a very warm ‘welcome back’ to our new Year 3 children and all their families. We have had such a successful introduction to life in Key Stage 2 this week.
Getting to know everyone this week has been such a treat, and imagining the weird and wonderful summer holidays we could have been on over the summer break was such fun.
In Religion, we were reminding ourselves of our school’s mission statement. We learned that our mission statement shares the school’s values and aims with anyone who hears it. In groups, we looked at the vocabulary that makes up our mission statement and explained what it means to us.
In PE, we played team games that helped to improve our skills in working as a team, our agility, and our hand-eye coordination.
We looked forward to many more fun-filled weeks in Year 3, full of laughs and learning.
