Another fantastic week over in year 3. We had a very busy week in all areas of our curriculum. In geography our focus this week was polar climate. Pupils immersed themselves in polar research exploring the Tundra Biome and all of its features. Following this they went on to explore polar seasons and the difference between a polar winter and a polar summer. In other areas of the curriculum the pupils had an opportunity to set up a simple and practical investigation based on our topic light and shadows. Pupils discovered that darkness is the absence of light and we need light in order to see things. To finish the week, in PSHE pupils discussed the meaning of the word ‘consideration.’ Pupils had the opportunity to explore how to be considerate through role play and drama.
Have a lovely weekend!
