On Wednesday, Year 3 visited the Petrie Museum which is part of UCL’s Egyptology department. The museum boasts over 8,000 artefacts so they were definitely kept busy with lots to look at! They took inspiration from all of the clay pots on display for their own future creations, they loved looking at the two mummy coffins on display (they were very upset the real bodies weren’t in there!) and for most of them they saw a real skeleton for the first time! The children should also be proud of themselves for their behaviour on the train – plenty of good deeds were done including offering their seat and using indoor voices!
Look at the pictures below to see how much the children enjoyed the trip!
