We have reached the end of a very busy and productive half-term. Pupils have definitely earned a well-deserved rest! We have spent this week tying up the ends of our topics and exploring what we have learned in our topics this term. In History, pupils were learning about the changes which took place in the Neolithic era and how life changed for prehistoric humans when farming and trading came about. In Maths we continued with addition and subtraction practicing our column method.
In science, we have been exploring the process of fossilisation. Pupils have learned about how fossils form. In addition, they had the opportunity to research information about famous Paleontologist Mary Anning who pioneered the study of fossils. With our final week having a DT focus, pupils had the opportunity to use their knowledge and understanding of fossils to make salt dough fossils.
