Another fantastic week in year 3 as we continued exploring the topic of ‘Forces and Magnets.’ Pupils carried out an investigation on the push and pull forces. Pupils enjoyed using our outdoor space to complete this task. We were investigating how objects travel on different surfaces. Pupils were able to identify why the toy car travelled differently on a varied surfaces. We then collated our information to create a bar chart which allowed pupils to visualize their findings.
In other areas of the curriculum we continued our exploration of the text ‘Fox’ and were focusing on developing good questioning through our ‘hot seating’ task. In addition to this pupils have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the remains of the Amesbury Archer; a key source in Bronze Age history.
Have a lovely weekend!
