This week, the children in Emerald Class focused their weekly Celebration of the Word on Jesus’ miracle, ‘The Feeding of the 5000’, focusing on the Catholic Social Teaching of ‘preferential option for the poor’. The prayer leaders helped their class to understand that this story reminds us to share what we have with others, no matter how small, can make a big difference. It also shows that God can provide for our needs and help us do amazing things when we trust Him.
Preparation began for our Eater Production and the beautiful voices of Year 3 have been blowing us away. Not only are the students gaining performance skills, but they’re also building resilience by facing challenges and overcoming nerves. As they rehearse in front of friends and teachers, they learn the importance of taking advice to reach new heights! We couldn’t be more excited for the children to perform.
