We have had a busy week here in year 3 in preparation for the Christmas fair. Pupils spent the week hand-crafting beautiful hessian Christmas tree decorations with scrabble letters. We also used our persuasive language devices to produce enticing posters to draw people to our stall at the fair. Some pupils got to test their knowledge of money whilst bagging themselves a job at the fair. What great helpers!
In other news, pupils took part in a fantastic diet and health workshop where they got to experience a hands-on education on how they can maintain a balanced diet. Pupils studied the eat well plate and asked lots of interesting questions to the nurses. In English this week pupils had the opportunity to publish their writing, working on their editing and redrafting skills. In Geography we looked to the equator where we investigated the weather conditions of tropical climate zones and how they impact the lives of people who live there.
