This week we welcomed back our fabulous Year 3s after a well-deserved 2-week break for Easter. They arrived back bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and launched themselves back into their learning.
This week in Science we began our topic ‘Forces and Magnets’. Pupils carried out an investigation into how objects move on different surfaces. This process allowed pupils to gather and analyse results which helped them to identify which surfaces had the most friction. Following this we explored friction and how friction occurs in everyday life. Pupils were then able to think about jobs or sports that require different amounts of friction.
