Year 3 was lucky enough to be visited by Father George earlier this week. He helped us better understand the Beatitudes and what they can teach us about people in the Kingdom of God. He explained that the Beatitudes can be read as a list of attitudes people should have to build the Kingdom. The children then produced impressive work in their Religion lesson, reflecting on which qualities they thought were most valuable for the Kingdom.
To round off the week, we had some more exciting visitors. The 3 Discovery team delivered an assembly and a workshop, which helped the children better understand online safety and allowed them to get creative by building comic books on iPads. Their stories could explain to the reader how things can go wrong when using technology or give tips and tricks for staying safe. The children LOVED it and we are excited to present their finished comics to the classes soon.
