Today Year 3 enjoyed a wonderful picnic to mark the upcoming coronation of King Charles III We had many wonderful costumes on display to mark such a special occasion. The coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms is to take place on Saturday, 6 May 2023, at Westminster Abbey. Charles acceded to the throne on 8 September 2022, upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning about this momentous occasion and recognise this is an event which will go down in History.
