This week in Year 3, pupils have been learning how to modify coded algorithms on scratch. Pupils focused on identifying input devices and also input blocks in their programs. They have also been focusing on prediction skills which allow them to identify what each block code means in a sequence. In addition, pupils focused on the concept of mistakes within coding and were able to explore how making mistakes is part of their learning within coding.
In science this week, pupils were learning all about push and pull forces. We explored different push and pull forces which are used every day and pupils were able to use their classifying skills to create a Venn diagram to showcase which objects used a push or pull force and which objects fell into the category of using both forces.
