This week, Year 2 have had a wonderful time! We really enjoyed having some of our adults come in today to help us with our RE lesson. Their support made the day even more special. The children were buzzing with excitement as we learned about the significance of water in the Catholic faith.
As part of our lesson, we created some fantastic collages that represent the importance of water. The students were eager to express their creativity, using a variety of materials. Each collage was unique and special.
The rainbow was particularly important because it represents the covenant that God made with Noah. We discussed how the rainbow is a sign of hope and promise. The children shared their thoughts about what the rainbow means to them, and it was heartwarming to hear such brilliant ideas!
At the end of the lesson, we displayed our collages around the classroom, and everyone took a moment to appreciate each other’s hard work. It was a lovely way to celebrate our learning together. Overall, this week was filled with fun, creativity, and meaningful lessons about faith and community. We can’t wait for more exciting activities next week!
