This Thursday Year 2 grabbed their buckets and spades and headed for Walton-on-the-Naze!
When we arrived we had the best lunch ever (just a little sandy!) as we watched the waves splashing onto the beach.
After lunch we bravely ventured down for a paddle in the chilly sea, jumping over waves and catching slimy seaweed. What great fun it was!
If the day couldn’t get even better, we were all treated to a scrumptious ice-cream with a yummy chocolate flake- mmmmmm!
Finally, it was time to come back to school. What a sand-tastic day!
All the children from Year 2 would like to say a big thank you to all the parents and staff from St Joseph’s who helped to make their trip to Walton-on-the-Naze such an amazing experience.
