Earlier this week on Tuesday, our school came alive with the vibrant spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie at St. Aloysius playing fields. The weather was perfect, and so was the enthusiasm among our students. From sprinting to egg and spoon races, every event was filled with cheers and encouragement. It was heartwarming to see pupils from all classes participating with such energy and determination. It truly was a wonderful day celebrating teamwork, effort and the joy of physical activity.
In addition to our thrilling sports day, we have more achievements to celebrate in Year 2. This week, Yellow Class completed their swimming lessons at Archway swimming pool. It was incredible to witness their progress over the sessions, gaining confidence in the water and mastering new strokes. Their dedication and hard work have certainly paid off and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements. Let’s also extend our applause to Diamond Class, who completed their swimming lessons last week. They set a high standard for skill and determination in the pool, showing us all what can be achieved with persistence.
We look forward to seeing what more the children can achieve together in the final weeks of KS1!
