Safer Internet Day is held every February all around the world. Last year, over 170 different countries celebrated the day! Safer Internet Day is a chance to think about any worries we might have about using technology and the internet, but it’s also about celebrating all the fantastic things technology can help us with.
There are lots of smaller changes that happen online and on our devices every day.
- Some settings change on your game
- Something pops up on your screen
- A character online looks different
- A video you were watching change
During the assembly and in their Computing lesson, children were sharing things that they had watched and were scary and people they went to talk to.
Have a look at the pictures below. Can you recognise what are they watching? Do you know what is happening on their device? Sometimes the first thing to do is to sit down with them and be part of their online world.
