What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! This week, it was the turn of Citrine Class to perform their much-anticipated class assembly. The children stood proudly on the stage, their voices ringing out clearly as they recited their lines with confidence. Each student radiated enthusiasm; they painted a vibrant picture of the continents of the world through engaging lyrics and captivating information. The audience clapped and cheered, mesmerised by their beautiful singing and expressive performance.
In addition to the assembly, Year 2 enjoyed their gardening sessions with the wonderful Ms Sofia. The children eagerly donned their gardening gloves and set to work planting colourful tulips, celebrating the year of the Pilgrim of Hope.
Moreover, every student had the opportunity to plant their own sunflower seeds to take home. They carefully placed the seeds into small pots, eagerly discussing how they would nurture them, ensuring they would thrive. We can’t wait to see how these sunflowers grow, stretching high towards the sun.
Overall, it has been a week filled with learning, creativity, and the joy of growing both plants and knowledge!
