This half-term in Geography, Year 2 have been learning about ‘Food Journeys’. At home, they have been very busy making projects to tell the story of a food from farm all the way to shops and supermarkets. They discovered that many foods are imported to and exported from the UK. They also learned that many foods are processed on their journey such as chocolate which starts off as cocoa beans that grow on cacao trees in hotter regions such as the world’s rainforests.
