A hard working week in Year 2! We have been discovering different mathematical vocabulary to describe position, direction and movement! We have made connections with rotations and fractions and showed a marvellous understanding of a quarter, half and three-quarter turns, turning either clockwise or anticlockwise.
We have also continued learning about Seasons in Geography and understanding what types of wind the United Kingdom receives from the North, West, East and South and why the weather changes! We were BLOWN away by some of the knowledge 🙂
We then had an important and interesting road safety assembly, which was very engaging and we learnt all the rules of the road and how to keep ourselves safe from harm!
