Year 1 loved wearing their pyjamas to cosy up with a book on World Book Day! We took part in a whole school quiz to use all of our knowledge about the many books we have read at home and in school. Our wonderful parents got involved alsoto help children carefully decorate a wooden spoon as their favourite book character. We also used our artistic talents in the classroom to create a Book Cover for our favourite book, as well as a bookmark to keep track of our reading. We are becoming confident and fluent readers this year and our teachers are very proud of us!
