Year 1 have been researching and imagining what it would feel like to travel to the Polar Regions. We have learned about the Arctic and Antarctica, as well as many of the amazing creatures that live in those areas. To link to our topic of Famous Explorers in history, we have talked about what an explorer might need to pack to go on an adventure to the North or South Pole. The children labelled the different features of a penguin this week and they have created beautiful pictures of polar animals to add to our display.
We are so glad that our school is much warmer than the Polar Regions! Well done Year 1!
