In our Religion class this week, we focused on our significance as individuals created in God’s likeness. God is our Heavenly Father, and out of love, He made us as His children. To illustrate this, we used mirrors to reflect on our identity as being made in God’s image.
In RSE, we examined the relationships we share with our friends. We discussed the qualities of a good friend and compared them with those of a bad friend. This led to many insightful ideas as we expressed our desire to embody the qualities of a good friend and surround ourselves with positive friendships. We also engaged in role-playing exercises, where we imagined various scenarios that required us to apologise. This activity helped us consider different situations we might encounter and the best ways to respond, all while acknowledging that God offers forgiveness to everyone.
